My research for my current works involves memories, tactile sensations of textures already known to me, already seen, which become designs for ancient, tribal figurative concepts occupying a space for incarnation and in this way expressing the power of the spirit that shapes the plasticity of matter. An essential feature of this creative path is the perceptive and figurative force of every single element that contributes to the composition and appears to harmoniously interact, upheld by a sort of light that generates dynamism and completeness.

This allows the creative structure, while being realized in a support, to come out of it, to project outward, releasing the message of spiritual concreteness proper to infinite space.

In observing the play of perspective and color, projected to spill out of the plane, chasing the imaginary, I understand that this journey of mine was only the beginning of a long navigation.
New plastic, emotional and thrilling perceptions become conducive to ploughing through the invisible, riding a mythological winged steed. A drive of childlike energy and determination moves me to inhabit a figurable universe not only in the mind. Thus manifests itself, a flow of painting that presses to give body and manifest expression to an intimate vision, transfiguring a concept, an idea into a three-dimensional structure.

I am now aware that I do not want to overdo my use of matter, nor do I want to exaggerate into sculpture. However, it is clear to me that the space provided by a canvas is not enough to host my visions.

My first works were influenced by cubism and the interpretations appear partially realist. On the other hand, the outlines and flows are stimulated more by abstract symbols, dynamic volumes, not clashing but creating sinuous movement. I see concepts and three-dimensional shapes come to life, reflecting the interest in Futurism typical of my first experiments.
The spiral dynamism of other experiments evokes the power and majesty of the wonderful fossil shells that hold a privileged place in my archaeological memory. Ammonites wrapped in life-giving spirals, protected by shells that surround, enclose and shelter, bring a sense of completion to something not imprisoned but free to breathe. This allows a creative structure, notwithstanding being attached to a sup- port, to project itself outwards, liberating its message of spiritual concreteness into infinite space.
